Way Back Wednesday

I couldn’t honestly say how or why I ended up with this particular car except that Ringmaster, my dad, was a self employed mechanic and random cars found a home in our driveway on a very frequent basis. So it really didn’t surprise me when I received my car that way - a pure white 1961 Ford Falcon.

I did however find it very funny that Ringmaster and I both totally disliked fords and yet he opted to put his oldest child in one for her first vehicle.

Weekends were spent cleaning, scraping, painting, fixing all the problems that an ancient car has. The more work done to the thing the more it grew on me. I eventually got excited about having the old car… Who cares if it’s a ford!

And after all the blood sweat and tears that went into making my car ride worthy, and before I ever even drove around the block in it guess what found its way out of our driveway? My crappy old ford…

FIRST ENTRY EVER

So I'm wondering whats the first thing I should write about in my first blog ever.  I don't even really know what a blog is.  I know my cousin really enjoys doing it and seems to get some kind of satifaction after typing her entries.  Her blog is the only one I have ever read and I know she is seasoned and my blogs will look retarted by comparision.  This may not end well for me.  But I guess I'm going to finally give it a shot and see what makes it so interesting.

Now I'm thinking how often does one blog?  What makes something blog worthy?  I think my cousin told me others can read my blog, so I need to be somewhat entertaining.  I see there are lots of icons on this site so my guess is I can make my blog pretty.

Ok well back to work for now.  Lets see if this has the kind of affect facebook had on me, I just had to go back for more...
